Well hey everyone!!  I was looking for a good website to have a blog on and this seemed like a good fit since all I write about is running!  I'm still trying to figure this site out and I plan on uploading some pics and videos soon, but for now I thought I'd write a blog entry!

Tomorrow my team is running at the Roy Griak Invite in Falcon Heights, MN.  I'm super excited for this race!  It is very close to where I live, and because of that a bunch of my friends are going to come watch me, along with my parents.  Griak is also always a good race to see where I/our team sit(s) among the other runners/teams in our conference/region/nation.  My team is currently ranked 10th in the nation!  There are 2 teams that are ranked ahead of us that are also running at Griak, and the highest ranking one (Wartburg, currently ranked 5th), we beat by 20 points 2 weeks ago.  So our team definitely has a shot at winning this meet, which is very exciting!  Individually, I am shooting for top 10.  It is not going to be easy, but I think I can do it.  The transition from mid-distance in track to cross-country has been a bit bumpy at times, and I'm still working on staying mentally tough in the middle of long cross-country races, but I think I'm getting there.
